Classes
for drums, cajon, bongos, congas, djembe, darbuka
Are you interested in learning drums or percussion? Exploring a passion for rhythm? Simply curious to try something new or dusting of old skills? 🙋🏿♀️🙋♂️🙋🏽
You’re at the right address! My approach to classes is based on my education as a Musical Teacher in my Pedagogical Masters Degree at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, and my experience of playing 12+ years in various international professional bands. With a personalised learning plan for beginners, intermediates or advanced players (adults & kids!), depending on your interests and goals, preferred genres (from jazz to latin, pop, Afro, Cuban, Groove, Rock, …), I hope to make your learning experience fun and productive. I’m a big fan of ‘feed-forward’ instead of feedback to help you get to the next level at a comfortable pace. Following the Chinese proverb: ‘Give a person a Fish, and You Feed them for a Day. Teach a person To Fish, and You Feed them for a Lifetime’, I will teach you how to ‘fish’ with rhythm!
