Andrés Fernández & The Cujazz is the legacy left to us by our European and African ancestors, aiming to pay tribute to the great creators of Cubop and Afro Cuban jazz. The combination of our own compositions and standard jazz mixed with Afro Cuban rhythms is the basis of our repertoire. From the album "Colores", the group plays arrangements that form a summary of the artistic career of Andrés Fernández. Andrés Fernández is a trombonist, composer, arranger, pedagogue and has been part of prestigious projects such as Grupo Contrabando, Gabriel Rios, Score Man, Mangold del Cobre, Richard Bona and Mandekan Cubano, Big band of the American saxophonist David Murray and more.
